About Us

Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Joseph started his love for baking at an early age when visiting his grandmother in New York. The love for baking continued through out grade school, getting stronger as the years went on. To continue in the passion of baking, Joseph applied to Johnson & Wales in Charlotte, North Carolina. Over the next two years, he focused on strengthening his skills in Baking & Pastry, while also learning some new tricks. After receiving an associates in Baking & Pastry, he decided to continue to obtain a Bachelors in Entrepreneurship to learn the skills needed to open his own shop. With a focus on cakes but a love for everything Baking & Pastry, Joseph decided to open Cakeology to pursue his dream of decorating cakes for a living.
